FAQ

Common questions

Quick answers about pricing, the areas I work in, and how I build websites.

Areas I serve

What areas does Eagle Web Creation serve?

I build websites for businesses across Wyoming's Big Horn Basin, including Lovell, Cody, Powell, Greybull, Basin, Worland and Thermopolis, along with smaller towns like Byron, Cowley, Deaver, Burlington, Manderson, Meeteetse and Ten Sleep. That covers Big Horn, Park, Washakie and Hot Springs counties.

Are you a local web designer?

Yes. I'm based in the Lovell and Cody area of the Big Horn Basin, and you work with me directly. No sales team and no project handed off to someone you've never met.

Do you work with businesses outside the Big Horn Basin?

Yes. Local businesses in the Basin usually fit a 1-5 page site, but I also build 6-10 page sites for businesses that advertise statewide and larger sites for multistate businesses and online stores.

Can you help my business show up when people search for my service in my town?

That's what I build for. When someone searches for something like a detailer in Cody, a hardware store in Lovell or a restaurant in Powell, your site should come up and answer their question. I write every site around the services you offer and the towns you actually serve.

Pricing and services

How much does a website cost in the Big Horn Basin?

A 1-5 page website is $800 and fits local small businesses that work within about a 60-mile radius. A 6-10 page website is $1,500 and fits larger businesses that advertise statewide. Sites with more than 10 pages, like multistate businesses and online stores, are priced after a consultation.

What does website management cost?

Management plans are $75 a month for 30 minutes of website work, $100 a month for 1 hour, or $225 a month for 2 hours. Extra work beyond your plan is $100 per hour, billed in full hours.

When do I need a website consultation?

Every site with more than 10 pages starts with a consultation. Anyone can book one if you're not sure what size of site you need or want a second opinion on your current website.

Search, AI and how sites are built

Will my website show up on Google?

Every site I build gets the search basics done right: page titles and descriptions written around your services and the towns you serve, clean page structure, business details marked up for search engines, and a properly set up domain. Nobody can honestly promise a #1 ranking, but your site will be set up to compete.

Can AI assistants like ChatGPT find my business?

AI assistants pull from websites they can read clearly. I build sites in plain HTML with your services, prices, service area and contact info written out in text and marked up with structured data, so search engines and AI tools can understand what you do and where.

Do you use Wix, Squarespace or WordPress?

No. I hand-code every site in plain HTML and CSS. That keeps pages fast and clean, without a page builder loading extra code in the background.
